I live with my wife Delma in Prosser, Washington. We have three grown children and two grandchildren. I am now retired after over thirty years in the natural resources and environmental field. I am devoting full time to landscape photography.
I was raised in Chillicothe, Ohio, in the beautiful hills of Southern Ohio, and graduated from Chillicothe High School. I loved to travel and explore the beautiful landscapes on my bicycle or on family trips. I received my BA in botany from Miami University then I moved to Corvallis, Oregon where I received a BS degree in forest management from Oregon State University. Delma and I met in Corvallis while I was a student there. Shortly after we were married I went into the Army and served for one year in Vietnam and just over a year at Ft. Hood, Texas.
I have had a rather diversified, yet rewarding, career. I have had the opportunity to work as a reforestation forester, tree improvement forester, soil conservation techinican, AutoCAD mapping designer, in irrigation design and management, an environmental scientist, and security officer. We have lived in the small towns of Winlock in western Washington, Stevenson, Washington in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, and now Prosser in the irrigated desert of central Washington.
I have had the opportunity to have traveled in 45 of the 50 states, including Hawaii.
